Hi! My name is Sharon and I am from Rockville, Maryland. I am a senior studying Bioengineering with a minor in Computer Science at the University of Pennsylvania and will be graduating with my Bachelor's in May 2024. I will be graduating with a Master's in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Robotics and Mechatronic Systems in December 2024. 

I am currently involved in research at the Rehabilitation Lab - a subgroup of GRASP laboratories - where I am involved in redesigning and rebuilding a bilateral system, as well as using machine learning to analyze neuroplasticity. My experience ranges from designing and developing mechatronic systems to the simulation of autonomous drone systems to bio-machine interfaces. I hope to use these skills to help advance cutting-edge technologies and improve the safety, efficiency, and reliability of various systems.
